Terms And Conditions

1. New Customers

A BT Customer Course Booking Form has to be completed at least 10 working days before attending the course. If the form has not been completed, BT will request payment by credit card, cash or cheque prior to the start date of the course. Please contact us on 02890212490 to request one.

2. Booking Process

All bookings for training events will be recorded by BT on a training booking system. All details including the agreed price will be electronically sent to the booker on a booking form. On receipt of a booking form it is the Customer’s responsibility to check it for accuracy, enter on it a purchase order number, check the invoicing address is correct, sign the booking form and mail or fax it back to BT. This booking form is confirmation of the order and also makes the order subject to the cancellation terms and conditions highlighted on the document. All provisional course bookings must be confirmed within 10 working days of the start date.

3. Invoices

BT recognises the benefits of providing purchase order numbers on all invoices. We would request that purchase order numbers are supplied on course booking forms at the time of confirmation. In cases where purchase order numbers are not supplied, BT will include the booker’s name as an equivalent PO number. All fees will be invoiced in Sterling / Euro as appropriate for each course, and fees are exclusive of all applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation Terms and Conditions

Cancellations made within 10 working days of the course start date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are subject to the late payment provisions in section 5 below.  All cancellations must be notified to BT in writing, a telephone message is not sufficient as a notice to cancel. Delegate substitutions are of course welcome provided that stated course pre-requisites are met.

Bookings for delegates who do not attend the training event will be considered as a cancellation and will be invoiced in full.

5. Late Payments

If payment in full is not received within 28 days of the date of BT’s invoice, BT may charge daily interest on late payments at a rate equal to 7% per annum above the base lending rate of the European Central Bank. 

6. Booking Transfers

Transfer of bookings to future events will only be processed in advance of the cancellation time period of 10 working days and are subject to all cancellation terms and conditions.

7. Course Cancellation

BT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as reasonably possible once this change is known.

8. Warranty and Liability

The Customer accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the courses are suitable for the requirements of the delegate attending a particular course and that the delegate has the necessary level of competence to be able to achieve the objectives of the course. BT is not liable to the Customer, either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise howsoever arising for any direct or indirect loss of profits, business or anticipated savings, nor for any indirect loss or damage or for any destruction of data.

9. Skills Cards, Pre Payments and Passports

All forms of pre payments are given an expiry date. The expiry date for Pre Payments and Skills Cards is one full year from time of confirmation. The expiry date for Passports is 18 months from time of confirmation.

10. General

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of these provisions will continue in full force and effect.
